Smartgain™ For MIMO
Building on the success of our patented SmartGain™ smart antenna technology for 802.11b/g Wi-Fi networks, Airgain now introduces the next generation of our smart antenna switching technology for 802.11n MIMO networks. SmartGain™ for MIMO utilizes Airgain's MaxBeam100 high gain antennas and patented switched-beam antenna steering technology to provide improved coverage and increased throughput connectivity and availability over conventional antenna systems.
SmartGain™ for MIMO features:
- Automatically scans network environment for noise and interference
- Monitors channel characteristics for each client
- Dynamically selects the beam combination that delivers the best performance
- No additional processing capacity or radios required
