Nextivity is a pioneer and global industry leader in HPUE technology. Nextivity (Assured Wireless) launched the first commercially available and widely adopted 3GPP Power Class 1 device in January 2021, initially for first responders. Since then, our technology and the market has grown to support critical communications of all kinds.
In the US, Nextivity SHIELD MegaFi 2 HPUE products are exclusively available for purchase through AT&T and its FirstNet and AT&T Business sales channels. We are proud to have earned the “FirstNet Trusted” designation for MegaFi products. Nextivity HPUE devices are part of our portfolio of solutions for FirstNet users.

Connectivity When It Matters Most
The range for cellular LTE coverage is typically limited by uplink power. By design, downlink power from the cell site is much greater than the uplink power from the user. Nextivity IntelliRange® technology remedies this imbalance – delivering 6x the uplink power of standard equipment.
HPUE is a special class of user equipment (devices) for the LTE cellular network that is defined by the international standards body 3GPP as Power Class 1. Power Class 1 devices are the most powerful devices allowed under 3GPP standards.
