NimbeLink will demo the new Skywire® Cat M1 modems live in the NimbeLink booth (#2006) and the Verizon meeting room.
Plymouth MN, February 8, 2017 – NimbeLink will be showing the company’s new Skywire LTE Cat M1 modem and providing live demos at two locations at the show: in NimbeLink’s booth #2006 and the Verizon meeting room. The demos will be running on Verizon’s ThingSpace development platform and visitors will be able to monitor performance on a live dashboard.
The NimbeLink Cat M1 modems are interfaced with BeagleBone Black boards through NimbeLink’s BeagleBone Cape. The device reports multiple sensors including light intensity, a 3-axis accelerometer, and an on-off sensor.
NimbeLink will also have a presence with business partner GetWireless at booth #6010.
NimbeLink speakers will participate in the following sessions on Thursday, February 9th:
- Rapid Prototyping for Cat M1 (live demo) at 1:00-1:55pm, with NimbeLink Director of Technical Business Development Brandon Hart and Verizon’s Uzair Siddiqui
