Prestigious regional technology awards program attracts highest volume of nominations in 19-year history
Carlsbad, Calif., September 29, 2006 — Airgain, Inc., a smart antenna innovator improving the mass market's wireless connectivity experience through its patented switched beam technology, has been named a finalist in the 2006 CONNECT Most Innovative Product Awards program.
Airgain's product innovation is its high-performance MaxBeam75 switched-beam smart antenna, which replaces inefficient, interference-prone dipole antennas in Wi-Fi access points, routers and gateways.
The Airgain MaxBeam75 is one of three finalists in the Communications Technology & Hardware category. This year, more than 100 entries were received overall, the largest group in MIP's history. Winners will be announced at a December 15 awards ceremony.
