Airgain Introduces the New Dual Band Profile30D
Compact board-mount design for operation in the 2.4 and 5GHz frequency bands
Carlsbad, Calif., March 25, 2009 — Airgain, Inc., a smart antenna innovator improving wireless connectivity in next-generation wireless gateways, routers and media systems, today introduced the newest addition to its Profile line of low profile embedded antennas. The Profile30D is a dual band, board mounted antenna designed for embedded applications requiring integration flexibility and low cost.
Based on our popular Profile30 single band antenna, Airgain’s Profile30D offers a compact solution optimized for 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi systems The Profile30D covers the 2.40 to 2.49 GHz and 4.9 to 5.9 GHz frequency bands, and its unique PCB mount design eliminates the need and cost of cables without sacrificing performance. With peak gains of 4dBi at 2.4GHz and 6dBi across the 5GHz frequency band, the Profile30D is the optimal antenna solution for next generation dual band routers and gateway devices.
